Situated in the heart of Watford town centre, this popular boozer needed a garden refresh.
The garden was lacking space, so DV architects formed a new yard area to the side of the premises on some car-parking and doubled the size of the beer garden.
The existing smoking enclosure was retained but new drink shelves were installed to increase capacity. The project included extending the brick piers and railings to get vision into the garden from the rear access road, along with new flooring and furniture.
The planter with integrated lighting and the festoon lights give a beautiful ambience during darker nights.
