JD Wetherspoon appointed DV Architects to seamlessly integrate the neighbouring betting shop into the existing pub, expanding the internal trading area. The project involved a comprehensive internal fit-out, incorporating several bespoke design elements, as well as a complete refurbishment of the new acquisition’s front façade. Given that The Prince of Wales is a Grade II listed building, DV Architects successfully secured full planning and Listed Building consent to ensure a sensitive yet impactful transformation.
